International Relations

Sabancı Foundation gives a special emphasis to international relations not only to learn about global trends and hot topics in the philanthropy and civil society sector but also to share recent developments in Turkey.

Within the scope of international relations, Sabanci Foundation has been an active member of European Foundation Center (EFC), Disability Consortium, Council on Foundations (COF), Global Philanthropists Circle (GPC) and Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) and partners with Perkins School. Sabanci Foundation also contributes to international publications and reports. The Chairman of the Sabanci Foundation, Ms. Guler Sabanci has been awarded Raymond Georis Award, the Clinton Global Citizen Award and David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award for her successful work in civil society and philanthropy. Moreover, Sabanci Foundation was recognized with the International Gold Star for Quality presented by Business Initiative Directions due to its leadership and contribution to quality and excellence, as well as its commitment to innovation and technology.
