Dilek Sabancı Sports Award

Dilek Sabanci Sports Awards are given to gold-medalist teams and athletes competing in the Junior and Senior categories of the Olympic and Paralympics sporting disciplines in World and European Championships to be held in Dilek Sabanci Antalya Gymnasium (Deaflympics, Universiade, Mediterranean Games, World and European Cups, championships among sports clubs, and other International Sports Games are not considered within the span of World and European Championships). Following is the scope of awards assigned to successful teams and athletes:

  • Team Sports: A cash payment in Turkish Lira that is equivalent of 50 Republican gold coins assigned to the top-ranking team representing Turkey in the Junior and Senior categories of the Olympic and Paralympics sporting disciplines in World and European Championships to be held in Dilek Sabanci Antalya Gymnasium in team sports where teams compete in games of volleyball, basketball, handball, football, etc. or are assigned a general team score without an individual rating.
  • Individual Sports: A cash payment in Turkish Lira that is equivalent to a maximum of 10 Republican gold coins to the gold-medal winner who is a Turkish citizen representing Turkey  in the individual games in the Junior and Senior categories of the Olympic and Paralympics sporting disciplines in World and European Championships to be held in Dilek Sabanci Antalya Gymnasium (in case an athlete wins more than one gold medal title he/she may be awarded a maximum of 10 Republican gold coins in total).
