European Wushu Championship (solely for 2010)

The 13th European Wushu Championship was held in Dilek Sabanci Antalya Gymnasium from March 7 to 14, 2010 respectively. Accomplished athletes were awarded within the framework of Dilek Sabanci Sports Awards on a one-off basis.

Dilek Sabanci Sports Award was conferred to 21 gold medalists in the 13th European Wushu Championship hosting 673 athletes from 28 countries.

“As I follow in the footsteps of my late father Sakip Sabanci and pursue to sustain his name and his ideas, I am delighted to execute his will and present these awards with the support of Sabanci Foundation to our distinguished athletes whom we take huge pride in. To see the size of accomplishments our youngsters can attain with a minor level of support indicates that we are on the right path”, remarked Dilek Sabanci, member of Sabanci Foundation Board of Trustees.
