The 26th International Ankara Music Festival was held on April 4-30, 2009. The festival, which is a member of European Festival Association and which has great importance to President Abdullah Gul, once again proved that "spring in Ankara is much more beautiful with music."

In addition to Turkish musicians, the festival maintained its international stand with the participation of French, Croatian, German, Slovenian, Italian, Czech and Belgian musicians.

The Sabanci Foundation and Kavaklidere Wines supported the 26th International Ankara Music Festival as honorary members.
