Grant Programs

Sabancı Foundation Grant Programs have been supporting the projects of civil society organizations for 13 years in order to promote access to equal opportunities for women, youth and persons with disabilities to participate in all aspects of society.

Until today, the Foundation has allocated more than 26 million TL for 164 projects implemented in 76 out of 81 provinces in Turkey and achieved nationwide impact. You can read the Sowing Season Grant Program Stories to get more information about the supported projects. For detailed information on current and past grantees, you can visit the Projects section.

In the 13th year of the Grant Programs, Sabancı Foundation initiated a strategic review process with the participation of experts from different sectors in order to evaluate the work of the foundation and adapt to the changing needs in Turkey. As a result of the study, the Foundation decided to develop its Grant Programs in order to bring permanent solutions to social problems and create a more sustainable impact. In the new system, the projects of civil society organizations on education will be supported within the “Open Call Grant Program”; while new strategic partnerships and projects will be developed on some thematic areas.
